Cost Management Analyst

We are looking for a Cost Management Analyst to monitor and analyze organizational costs, budgets and inventories, supporting financial efficiency and effective cost management. The successful candidate will have strong hands-on experience in cost analysis, budgeting and forecasting, with solid SAP S/4HANA, Excel and Power BI skills. Key Responsibilities: Manage daily cost monitoring, tracking and cost management activities. Prepare the annual cost management plan, cost models and annual budgets, including consolidated Group/parent/subsidiary cost budgets. Coordinate budgeting, forecasting and reporting activities and perform quality checks on financial information. Analyze monthly costs against budget, identify variances and gaps, and prepare cost reports for management. Analyze inventory trends and monthly KPIs and participate in cost and inventory review meetings with key stakeholders. Work with Finance and other departments to obtain information, align cost assumptions and challenge significant cost variances. Support management decision-making through ad-hoc cost analysis and reporting. Monitor cash preservation activities and support benchmarking to identify cost management opportunities. Develop cost management procedures and contribute to cost planning and modelling guidelines. Requirements: Must be currently based in Qatar. Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline. 3-5 years of relevant professional experience. Minimum 5 years of experience working with SAP S/4HANA. Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills. Good working knowledge of Power BI and MS Office. Hands-on experience in cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and variance/gap analysis. Experience analyzing cost and inventory performance. Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work with Finance, Management and other departments. Relevant experience in fertilizer, oil & gas, petrochemical, or other industrial environments would be an advantage.
