Job description
About Tranquil
Tranquil ERP software is a comprehensive cloud-based solution designed to empower contracting, trading, and manufacturing companies in the GCC region. Our software eliminates the need for paper-based processes and streamlines your core business functions.
Role
Serves as the bridge between Sales, the Project Manager, the Technical Team, and the Customer, from the first demo through go-live. Supports the sales team in winning new clients through discovery, tailored product demonstrations, and solution proposals. Then ensures successful implementation, training, and onboarding once the deal is closed.
Responsibilities
Pre-Sales
- Partner with the sales team to run discovery sessions with prospects, qualify fit, and understand their business processes, pain points, and requirements.
- Prepare and deliver Tranquil ERP demos tailored to each prospect's industry (contracting, trading, or manufacturing), including setting up demo environments with realistic data.
- Conduct fit-gap analysis between prospect requirements and Tranquil ERP's standard functionality, and identify any customizations or integrations needed.
- Assess technical feasibility with the Project Manager and Technical Team before any commitments are made to the client.
- Support the sales team in preparing proposals, RFP/RFQ responses, scope of work, and implementation effort and timeline estimates.
- Answer prospects' functional and technical questions during the sales cycle, such as modules, integrations, data migration, and VAT and ZATCA e-invoicing compliance.
- Run proof-of-concept or pilot setups when needed to support a deal.
- Build and maintain pre-sales materials such as demo scripts, presentations, case studies, and FAQs.
- Share client feedback, recurring feature requests, and competitor insights with management and the product team.
Implementation & Onboarding
- Ensure a smooth handover from sales to implementation by documenting everything agreed during the sales cycle (scope, commitments, special requirements) for the Project Manager and Technical Team.
- Ensure requirement-gathering is well documented, starting from the project scope (including the SRS), and get the client's signature before the Technical Team starts implementation activities (Service).
- Ensure the implementation cycle is well documented for the Technical Team, in coordination with Project Managers.
- Coordinate with the Technical Team to resolve technical issues during project execution (until delivery note).
- Collect master data for migration and carry out client onboarding activities.
- Provide all necessary training and support to clients, including knowledge transfer on minor technical details.
- Ensure a successful system go-live after project completion.
- Ensure projects are closed before their deadlines.
Client Communication & Reporting
- Maintain ongoing communication with customers to address any queries or concerns.
- Report the status of pre-sales opportunities and ongoing implementations to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in ERP implementation. Experience with contracting, trading, or manufacturing clients is highly preferred.
- Experience in ERP pre-sales or solution consulting, including product demos and proposal/RFP preparation, is a strong plus.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical decision-makers.
- Solid understanding of core business processes such as finance, procurement, inventory, sales, projects, and production.
- Previous exposure to project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) is beneficial.
- Experience in client engagement and training.
- Familiarity with GCC requirements such as VAT and ZATCA e-invoicing is a plus.
- Fluent in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.
