Job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Fixed Assets Accountant to join our Finance Team in Riyadh. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate fixed asset records, managing capitalization and depreciation activities, monitoring Capital Work in Progress (CWIP), performing reconciliations, and supporting financial reporting and audit requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain and reconcile the Fixed Asset Register with the General Ledger. - Review CAPEX transactions and ensure proper capitalization and classification. - Monitor CWIP balances and transfer completed projects to fixed assets. - Calculate and process depreciation accurately. - Manage asset additions, transfers, disposals, write-offs, and adjustments. - Support physical asset verification and resolve discrepancies. - Prepare fixed asset and CAPEX reports and support internal/external audits. - Maintain accurate fixed asset data within ERP systems. Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - 3+ years of relevant experience in Fixed Assets Accounting, Financial Accounting, or a related finance role. - Hands-on experience in fixed assets, capitalization, depreciation, reconciliations, and financial reporting. - Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial accounting systems. - Experience with D365, SAP, Oracle ERP, or similar systems is preferred. - Experience in a large/multi-entity organization or with CAPEX / capital projects is an advantage. - SOCPA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification is a plus.
