Fleet Manager

Fleet Manager Location: Between Ajman and Sharjah, UAE Schedule: 5 days per week | 8:00 am to 6:30 pm Role purpose Manage fleet operations to deliver food products safely, reliably and cost effectively. Experience and mandatory requirements Minimum 5 years as a Fleet Manager in the food industry, with UAE experience. SAP is mandatory. Key responsibilities - Plan vehicle allocation, delivery routes and driver schedules in coordination with dispatch and sales. - Manage preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections and vehicle availability; maintain fleet records in SAP. - Monitor fuel consumption, transport costs, utilisation and delivery performance; investigate variances. - Supervise drivers, reinforce safe driving and ensure clean vehicles suitable for food distribution. - Coordinate vehicle registration, insurance, service providers and incident reporting. - Maintain delivery documentation and support traceability and customer issue resolution. Skills and capabilities - Hands-on SAP capability for relevant fleet, maintenance or logistics processes. - Strong route planning, team supervision, reporting and vendor coordination skills - Industry background required in Food manufacturing, FMCG or flour manufacturing.
