Gas Distribution SCADA Specialist

Eram Talent is seeking an experienced Gas Distribution SCADA Specialist to join a leading energy company in Saudi Arabia. To maintain and administer the SCADA system of the Marafiq Gas Distribution Network in Yanbu including its communication network to ensure high equipment availability and optimize system performance. As a Gas Distribution SCADA Specialist, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of SCADA systems, facilitating real-time monitoring and control of gas distribution activities. Key Responsibilities: - Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on SCADA application software, operating systems, hardware, RTUs, and communication networks. - Administer and manage SCADA systems and networks, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Windows operating systems. - Monitor SCADA system performance such as alarms, events, CPU usage, and network traffic. - Analyze and manage real-time data using monitoring techniques and data historian tools. - Conduct testing, commissioning, and integration of new SCADA systems and devices. - Working experience with SAP - Plant Maintenance module. Requirements: - Bachelor Degree in I&C Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or equivalent. - Minimum of 8 years of experience in SCADA systems specific to gas distribution or major utility organizations. - Working experience in Wonderware SCADA system and Emerson RTUs of Metering Skids. - Good understanding of communication protocols such as Modbus, RS232/485. - Working experience with SAP Plant Maintenance module. - Relevant certifications such as MCSA, CompTIA Network+ preferred.
