Gas Distribution SCADA Specialist

Eram Talent is seeking an experienced Gas Distribution SCADA Specialist to join a leading energy company in Saudi Arabia. To maintain and administer the SCADA system of the Marafiq Gas Distribution Network in Yanbu, including its communication network, to ensure high equipment availability and optimize system performance. Responsibilities include performing preventive and corrective maintenance on SCADA application software, operating systems, hardware, RTUs, and communication networks. Administer and manage SCADA systems, configure Windows operating systems, monitor system performance, analyze real-time data using historian tools, and provide technical support. Conduct testing, commissioning, and integration of new SCADA systems, manage system security, user administration, backups, disaster recovery, and hardware maintenance. Support project and engineering activities, including design package reviews, site surveys, vendor coordination, and safety studies such as RCA, RCM, HAZOP, and IPF. Requirements include a Bachelor Degree in I&C Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or equivalent, minimum 8 years of experience in SCADA systems specific to gas distribution with major utility organizations or SCADA manufacturers, experience with Wonderware SCADA systems and Emerson RTUs, understanding of communication protocols like Modbus and RS232/485, and working experience with the SAP Plant Maintenance module.
