General Accountant (Automotive Industry)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced General Accountant to join our automotive operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with UAE accounting standards, and supporting the financial performance of the business. Manage daily accounting transactions and maintain the general ledger. Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly financial reports. Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable activities. Perform bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring. Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules. Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities. Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations. Monitor inventory and vehicle-related accounting transactions. Coordinate with internal departments regarding financial matters. Support external auditors during audits and financial reviews. Ensure accuracy of financial data and proper documentation of transactions. Prepare management reports and assist in budget preparation.
