General Ledger Accounting Manager

Armada Retail Concept is hiring a General Ledger Accounting Manager in Kuwait. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, and at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or managerial GL role. A CMA or equivalent professional qualification is highly preferred. Retail, FMCG, or multi-entity experience is an advantage. Candidates must have advanced experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics, alongside strong Excel skills and knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, internal controls, and IFRS/US GAAP. Key responsibilities include leading month-end and year-end closing processes, reviewing balance sheet reconciliations, maintaining and optimizing the Chart of Accounts, overseeing fixed asset accounting, preparing financial statements, conducting variance analysis, and managing the GL accounting team.
