General Manager - Fleet Operations & Maintenance

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven General Manager - Fleet Operations & Maintenance to lead our fleet operations, maintenance, workshop activities, fleet utilization, and operational performance. Key Responsibilities: Lead fleet operations and maintenance for light vehicles, heavy vehicles, buses, and equipment. Maximize fleet utilization, vehicle availability, and operational efficiency. Develop and monitor KPIs to improve productivity, reduce downtime, and control costs. Manage preventive maintenance, workshop performance, and vehicle reliability. Support management in business development, tender submissions, pricing, and commercial strategies. Build strong relationships with key clients, government entities, and oil & gas companies. Drive profitability, operational excellence, HSE compliance, and continuous improvement. Lead and develop multidisciplinary operations and maintenance teams. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. MBA in Operations, Business Administration, or Supply Chain Management. 15-20 years of relevant experience in fleet operations and maintenance, including at least 8 years in senior leadership. Strong UAE experience in transport, logistics, heavy equipment, or oil & gas support services. Proven expertise in managing large-scale fleets, KPI development, cost control, and client relationship management. Excellent communication, leadership, and business development support skills. Experience with SAP, Oracle, Odoo, GPS, or fleet management systems is an advantage.
