GL Accountant

We are hiring GL Accountant for our client in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance Experience: 5-8 years Key Responsibilities: - Lead month-end closing and financial reporting - Manage GL activities, reconciliations and intercompany transactions - Prepare monthly and year-end financial statements - Support internal and external audits - Ensure accurate accruals, assets and liabilities - Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal controls - Coordinate with internal stakeholders and support Tax & Fixed Assets functions Requirements: - Strong experience in core accounting and GL - Advanced knowledge of IFRS - SAP / Finance systems experience preferred - Advanced MS Office skills - Excellent analytical and reporting skills - ACA or ACCA or CIMA qualification is a must
