Group Financial Controller / Director

Metra Group is looking for an experienced Group Financial Controller/Director to lead and oversee our financial reporting, accounting operations, and financial controls across our multinational operations in Egypt, UAE, Saudi Arabia, and the MENA region. Key Responsibilities: • Lead consolidated financial reporting and group accounting operations. • Oversee AP, AR, GL, and Financial Reporting functions. • Ensure compliance with IFRS and strengthen financial controls. • Manage internal and external audits and regulatory requirements. • Oversee consolidation, intercompany transactions, and month-end closing. • Support strategic financial decision-making and IPO preparation. • Lead and develop accounting and finance teams across multiple functions. Key Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • CMA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification – Mandatory. • IFRS certification or advanced IFRS expertise – Mandatory. • 10+ years of experience in Accounting & Finance. • Minimum 5 years in a senior finance/accounting leadership role. • Strong experience in consolidation and multinational financial reporting. • Strong knowledge of IFRS 9, IFRS 15, IFRS 16, IFRS 10, and IFRS 11. • Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP systems. • IT Distribution industry experience is highly preferred. • MENA/multinational experience is an advantage. • IPO, capital raising, or major corporate transaction experience is highly preferred. • Excellent English communication skills.
