Head of Accounting

We are looking for a hands-on and organized candidate with strong experience in accounting management, connecting sales with inventory and collections, and proficiency in using accounting systems and AI tools for data analysis and reporting. Key Responsibilities: • Manage the accounting cycle, monthly, and annual closings. • Prepare and review trial balances and financial statements. • Monitor customer and vendor accounts and collections. • Prepare bank reconciliations and review shipping and e-commerce payment accounts. • Control inventory, returns, damaged goods, and product costing. • Review e-commerce store sales and cash-on-delivery operations. • Prepare profitability, cash flow, and aging of receivables reports. • Review VAT and electronic invoicing. • Develop internal control procedures and minimize errors and discrepancies. • Manage the accounting team, distribute tasks, and monitor performance. • Prepare clear and simplified financial reports for senior management. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. • Minimum 5 years of experience, including experience in a supervisory role. • Experience in commercial, distribution, or e-commerce companies. • Proficiency in one of the ERP systems such as Odoo, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI preferred. • Experience in inventory, costing, sales, returns, and collection. • Good knowledge of VAT and e-commerce electronic invoicing in Saudi Arabia. • Ability to prepare financial statements and analytical reports. • Accuracy, commitment, speed, and problem-solving skills. Required AI Skills: • Use ChatGPT or similar AI tools in data analysis and reporting. • Leverage AI to detect discrepancies and errors. • Automate recurring reporting and accounting tasks. • Transform financial data into clear indicators that support decision-making.
