Head of Finance

S'hail Shipping & Maritime Services is Qatar's largest owner of dry bulk carriers, transporting dry bulk commodities across global markets. The company plays a key role in supporting regional and international trade by providing reliable, large-scale shipping capacity. The Head of Finance is a full-time, on-site role based in Doha, responsible for overseeing all financial activities of S'hail Shipping & Maritime Services. This role manages the preparation, review, and consolidation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading budgeting and forecasting processes, monitoring financial performance, and providing analytical insights to support strategic decision-making. The Head of Finance will oversee financial reporting, cash flow management, and internal controls, while coordinating with external auditors, banks, and other stakeholders. This position also involves leading and developing the finance team, optimizing financial systems and processes, and supporting senior leadership with clear financial guidance for long-term planning.
