Lead, ERP SCM Functional

TAQA Distribution is looking for a Lead, ERP SCM Functional to take ownership of our Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM capabilities and help transform how we manage procurement, inventory, planning, logistics and supplier operations. This is a senior hands-on functional role — we are looking for someone who can design, configure, test and implement Oracle Fusion SCM solutions, not simply manage projects or stakeholders. What You’ll Do: - Own and continuously improve the Oracle Fusion SCM functional landscape. - Design, configure and implement solutions across multiple SCM modules. - Translate business requirements into practical, scalable Oracle Fusion solutions. - Lead functional delivery from requirements and design through configuration, SIT/UAT, deployment and hypercare. - Support and optimise Procurement & Purchasing, Supply Chain Planning, Inventory Management & Costing, Warehouse Management, Order Management, Supplier Management, Logistics, Manufacturing, and Contract Lifecycle Management. - Develop functional designs, configuration documents, test scripts, migration inputs and implementation artefacts. - Support integrations with Finance ERP, EAM, logistics and analytics platforms. - Drive SCM process improvements, automation, analytics and emerging AI-enabled supply chain capabilities. - Ensure solutions align with procurement governance, controls, UAE regulatory requirements and TAQA standards. - Partner with Supply Chain, Procurement and Technology leadership to deliver measurable business outcomes. What We’re Looking For: Must Have: - Strong hands-on Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM experience — mandatory. - Proven experience in Oracle Fusion SCM configuration, implementation and testing. - Experience across multiple SCM modules, ideally including Procurement, Planning, Inventory, Costing, Order Management, Warehouse/Logistics and/or Manufacturing. - Strong understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain and Procurement processes. - Experience translating business requirements into functional designs and system configurations. - Hands-on experience with SIT, UAT, data migration, cutover and post-go-live support. - Ability to troubleshoot functional issues and work closely with technical/integration teams. - 6+ years of relevant experience. Nice to Have: - 9+ years of relevant experience. - Experience in utilities, energy or other asset-intensive environments. - Oracle Fusion quarterly release and continuous improvement experience. - Knowledge of UAE procurement, VAT, ICV and regulatory requirements. - Experience with SCM analytics, automation and AI-enabled supply chain capabilities. - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Business or a related field.
