Linux OS System Administrator

This position functions around the clock, 24/7/365, to deliver extensive support for the enterprise RHEL server environment. The role involves the installation, configuration, management, operation, and maintenance of all RHEL server systems and RHEL Clusters including Pacemaker. It is essential to ensure system stability through daily operations, patch management, monitoring, and troubleshooting, as well as providing support for SAP environments that operate on RHEL. Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and manage Linux servers and applications to ensure optimal performance and high availability. Monitor system performance, perform routine maintenance, and apply updates as needed. Identify and resolve issues related to operating system, hardware, and network configurations. Implement and enforce security best practices within Linux environments. Ensure that all RHEL systems are managed in accordance with vendor recommendations and security best practices, maintaining compliance with NCA, NIC, and SEC Cybersecurity regulations. Manage RedHat HA Extension Pacemaker clusters and support SAP, SAP HANA, and SAP S/4HANA environments on the RHEL platform. Collaborate with ERP, application, database, and web hosting teams. Manage and maintain client agents for server monitoring such as SCOM, AppDynamics and server management like SCCM.
