Manager, Data Modeling

The Data Modeling Manager is responsible for leading the design, development, governance, and continuous improvement of enterprise data models to support business intelligence, analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision-making. The role works closely with business stakeholders, data architects, engineers, and analytics teams to ensure data is structured, integrated, governed, and optimized according to business and technical requirements. Key responsibilities include leading conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling, defining standards and methodologies, designing scalable data structures for data warehouses and data lakes, reviewing models, establishing relationships and hierarchies, supporting data governance, and mentoring data teams. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field, 10+ years of experience in data modeling, data architecture, or data warehousing, strong experience with relational databases and analytical data platforms, understanding of ETL/ELT and data governance, and experience with modeling tools like ER/Studio or SAP PowerDesigner.
