Officer - MIS

Objective: This position is responsible for preparing accurate financial and operational reports, supporting month-end closings, and ensuring data consistency across systems. The role plays a key part in enabling business decisions through timely MIS reporting and reconciliation support. Key Responsibility: Support timely and accurate preparation of monthly MIS reports, including P&L and Balance Sheet by store, region, and business unit. Assist in month-end closing activities, including ledger scrutiny, provision entries, and adjustments of prepayments. Review general ledger and trial balance entries to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies. Reconcile intra-company transactions related to purchases, sales, and transfers, ensuring all entries are correctly posted. Manage insurance coordination for retail outlets, warehouses, offices, and other company assets. Generate supporting reports for management, finance, and other internal departments as required. Assist with the closure of financial modules within ERP systems (such as APPS) during monthly closing periods. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure consistent data flow for MIS reporting and compliance tracking. Maintain and organize MIS documentation, policies, and audit trail for easy reference and compliance purposes. Desired Experience: 2-5 years of experience in Management Information Systems (MIS) or IT management, with experience in a leadership role. Proficiency in database management, data analysis, and ERP systems. Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. In-depth understanding of MIS principles, data security, and compliance standards.
