Oracle Technical Consultant

Role Summary: Technical specialist for Oracle Fusion reports, extensions, data conversions, and personalisations across FIN, HCM, SCM, and EPM. Owns the technical backlog for the support engagement. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain BIP, OTBI, and Oracle Analytics Publisher reports across all modules. • Build and support FBDI, ADFdi, and HDL data loads for ongoing data corrections and migrations. • Develop SaaS extensions - page personalisations, sandboxes, application composer, expression language. • Build PaaS-side extensions using VBCS, APEX, and OIC where SaaS boundaries are reached. • Manage Fusion REST and SOAP web services for integrations and custom solutions. • Support quarterly release regression testing - automated where feasible. • Develop and maintain dashboards using OTBI, OAC, and Redwood-based analytics. • Document technical designs, code repositories, and deployment runbooks. Required Skills & Experience: • Strong Oracle Fusion technical stack - BIP, OTBI, FBDI, HDL, ADFdi, Application Composer, Sandboxes. • Hands-on Oracle PaaS - VBCS, APEX, OIC, OCI core services (object storage, scheduler, IDCS). • Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, XML/XSLT, Groovy (Application Composer), and JavaScript (VBCS). • Experience with Fusion REST APIs, SOAP web services, and BI Publisher data models. • Working knowledge of SaaS extensibility framework and the SaaS-vs-PaaS decision boundary. • Exposure to Redwood UX - VB Studio for Redwood extensions, Redwood design system, page authoring. • Experience with Git / DevOps pipelines for Oracle PaaS code management preferred.
