Payroll Officer

Armada Retail Concept is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Officer to join our team. The Payroll Officer will be responsible for managing the company’s payroll operations accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with applicable labor laws, tax regulations, social insurance requirements, and company policies. The role will work closely with HR and Finance to ensure smooth payroll processing, reporting, and employee support. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and process monthly payroll for all employees accurately and within established deadlines. - Verify attendance, leave, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and other payroll inputs. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee payroll records and documentation. - Ensure compliance with labor laws, taxation requirements, GOSI/social insurance regulations, and company policies. - Prepare and submit statutory reports and deductions on time. - Support internal and external audits by providing accurate payroll reports and documentation. - Coordinate with HR regarding employee joiners, leavers, transfers, salary changes, contracts, and other employee data updates. - Coordinate with Finance on payroll reconciliations, journal entries, and payment processing. - Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly and professionally. - Maintain strict confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive employee and payroll information. - Ensure payroll and HRIS systems are updated with accurate employee and salary information. - Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes, efficiency, and automation. - Support payroll system testing, updates, and timekeeping-related projects. - Assist the Payroll Manager with payroll analytics, financial summaries, and cross-functional projects. - Maintain organized payroll records in line with company and regulatory requirements. Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. - 2–4 years of experience in payroll administration or a similar role. - Experience with HRIS/payroll systems, such as SAP, Oracle, or other ERP solutions. - Working knowledge of labor laws, taxation, and social insurance regulations. - Strong numerical and analytical skills. - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. - Strong organizational and time-management skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll software. - High level of integrity and confidentiality.
