Plant Accountant

The Plant Accountant will play a pivotal role in supporting Kerry's Operations finance function to deliver timely and accurate financial information and analysis to key stakeholders within Sohar Plant. Based at the Sohar manufacturing plant in Oman, the Plant Accountant will assume key responsibility for daily Operations finance activity, supporting the Regional Finance controller. Key responsibilities include manufacturing plant commentary on financial performance, monthly financial reporting against budget, inventory reporting and write-offs management, active participation in physical inventory count and variance reconciliation by analyzing material movements in SAP, fixed asset tagging and capitalization, P2P control mechanisms, material ledger closing with GBS, partnering with Supply Chain on material costs, and product/process costing.
