Pre-Sales Consultant - ERP and Business Applications

Presales Consultant, ERP & Business Applications. Location: Dubai, UAE | Experience: 4-8 years | Type: Full-time. The Role: You will connect what a client says they need with what we deliver. You will run discovery with prospects, design practical solutions on Zoho, Odoo, and custom lowcode platforms, and show clients how those solutions would work in their business. You will also shape proposals that our delivery team can execute without surprises. You'll work closely with business development before the deal closes and with delivery when you hand the project over. As we grow our AI practice, you'll help position AI-enabled automation where it adds real value. Key Responsibilities: Lead discovery workshops with prospects to map current processes, pain points, and business objectives. Document the results as clear requirement summaries or pre-sales BRDs. Design fit-for-purpose solution architectures on Zoho One (CRM, Books, Inventory, Creator, People, Analytics) and Odoo ERP. Identify where configuration, customization, integration, or low-code development is needed. Build and deliver tailored product demos and proofs of concept using the client's own scenarios, not generic scripts. Own the solution and commercial sections of proposals and RFP/RFI responses: scope, assumptions, exclusions, phasing, and effort estimates. Validate these with the delivery team. Advise clients on platform selection honestly, including when Zoho, Odoo, or a hybrid approach is the better fit. Bring UAE compliance into solution design, including VAT, Corporate Tax, e-invoicing readiness, and WPS payroll. Identify opportunities for AI-driven automation and agents, and present them credibly with realistic outcomes. Hand won deals over to delivery with complete documentation, so scope and client expectations carry through cleanly. Keep a reusable library of demo environments, industry solution templates, and proposal content. Track competitor offerings and market pricing across the GCC, and feed insights back to leadership. What We Are Looking For: 4-8 years in ERP/CRM presales, solution consulting, or functional consulting, with at least 2 years in a client-facing presales role. Hands-on experience with Zoho and/or Odoo. Strong exposure to one plus working knowledge of the other is ideal. Other ERP backgrounds (Dynamics 365 BC, NetSuite, SAP B1) are welcome if you're willing to cross-skill quickly. Solid understanding of core business processes: order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, inventory, projects/job costing, and financial accounting. Proven ability to estimate effort and scope implementations realistically. GCC experience, preferably in the UAE, with working knowledge of local tax and compliance requirements. Excellent spoken and written English, and confidence presenting to CXOs, Finance heads, and operations teams. Comfortable working across time zones with our India delivery centres. Good to Have: Exposure to low-code platforms (Zoho Creator, Power Apps) or integration tools (APIs, Zoho Flow, Make, n8n). Practical exposure to AI tools, LLMs, or automation agents in a business context. Zoho or Odoo certifications. A valid UAE driving licence.
