Production Engineer

Process Supervision & Optimization: Supervise daily mattress manufacturing workflows including quilting, quilting patterns, pocket spring production, foam cutting, tape-edging, and final inspection lines. ERP Data Integrity & BOM Management: Maintain and verify complex Bills of Materials (BOM) and routing protocols within the Odoo ERP system. Route shop floor data accurately and audit material variances to prevent discrepancies. Continuous Improvement & Lean Manufacturing: Identify bottlenecks on the assembly lines. Apply time-and-motion studies and lean manufacturing principles to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and eliminate raw material waste. Equipment Coordination & Troubleshooting: Work hand-in-hand with the maintenance team to oversee specialized automated mattress machinery (e.g., automated sewing, pocket-coil, and tape-edge machines). Troubleshoot process deviations immediately to minimize downtime. Quality & Standards Compliance: Monitor shop floor quality control practices. Ensure that foam, fiber, and spring components meet technical blueprints and premium brand standards before moving to packaging. Shift & Worker Coordination: Instruct, assign daily tasks to, and monitor technicians and line operators to ensure shift targets are safely and efficiently achieved.
