Job description
Production Engineer at Eaton in Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. Lead production activities while coordinating closely with Safety, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Production team leaders. Focuses on improving safety, quality, delivery, and cost through effective process design, Lean manufacturing principles, SAP master data integrity, and structured problem-solving methodologies. Assembling GEIS components & modules into complete bays through a lean & flow production line. Direct and coordinate plant operations to meet production schedule. Product quality control, factory production forecast, order handling including FAT (factory acceptance test). Bachelor of Science in Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering. 5-8 years experience in Production/Manufacturing/Fabrication environment. Systems expertise in SAP R/3 and SAP BW desired or any other ERP system. Hands on application of manufacturing methodologies and tools such as Kan-Ban, 2 Bin System, Poke Yoke, One piece Flow, TOC, TPM. Fluent in Arabic and English.
