Production Planner

The Production Planner will support the department by translating business supply needs into actionable production schedules. This role focuses on continuous improvement across the supply chain, optimizing inventory levels, shortening end-to-end lead times, and leading ERP system enhancements to ensure efficient plant operations. Responsibilities include inputting new item organization data, entering build plans into the ERP system, reviewing and converting MRP suggested requirements into purchase requisitions and manufacturing orders, resolving exception messages, attending production meetings, reviewing the ERP system daily to ensure material availability, maintaining ERP system data accuracy, and meeting urgent deadlines. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in manufacturing or supply chain management or equivalent, 3 to 5 years relevant experience in manufacturing, industrial engineering, or production, MRP planning experience with complex products and multi-layer BOMs, experience in an ETO or MTO environment, and experience with advanced planning systems or Oracle ERP / MRP super user experience.
