Production Planner

Role Summary: The Production Planner is responsible for creating and maintaining production schedules, managing material requirements, releasing work orders, and monitoring production progress to ensure on-time delivery of customer orders. The role requires close coordination with Production, Purchasing, and Stores to ensure materials and resources are available to support manufacturing operations. Role Responsibilities: Create, maintain, and update production schedules and plans. Forecast material requirements and calculate order dates based on supplier lead times. Manage materials for manufacturing operations involving a high volume of part numbers. Create, release, manage, and distribute work orders through the ERP system. Track and report the status of released work orders. Review actual work operation times against standard manufacturing times. Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related discipline. Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Production Planning, Manufacturing Planning, Material Planning, or similar role within a manufacturing environment. Technical Skills: Training or certification in ERP/MRP systems, especially Odoo, is beneficial.
