Project Controller - SG&A

The Project Controller is responsible for reviewing projects performance, financial reporting, budgeting, projects best estimate, timesheet management, coordinating between projects managers, PMO & Finance for project's performance. Support the FC / CFO for the deployment and integration of the finance organization within Middle East. Support and challenge the projects managers on their project's performance. Review project status with budget and available estimates. Work and challenge the entities to produce monthly and quarterly consolidated financial statements, KPIs, budgets. Knowledge of financial reporting systems, project account codes, timesheets and understanding of CFO instructions. Be accountable for statutory reporting processes and reconciliation between local financial statements and Engie Tractebel Group consolidation. Monitoring and follow up accounts receivable on timely basis, ensuring client invoicing. Analyze SG&A, Working capital, CFFO, bonds, risk and opportunities, foreign exchange impacts. Support the Finance Controller in preparing, consolidating and maintaining budgets, forecasts and periodic outlooks. Monitor actual expenditure, accruals against budgets and explain material variances. Prepare recurring management reports and dashboards covering projects and business performance. Coordinate the monthly closing process, including accruals, cost allocation checks, and reconciliations. Work with budget owners to collect inputs and input data into ERP for tracking and reporting purposes.
