Job description
We're looking for an experienced Projects Controls Engineer to join our client in Qatar and help drive the successful delivery of major projects.
Role & requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil preferred)
- 5-7 years as a Projects Controls Engineer, with brownfield Oil & Gas experience (Petrochemicals a plus)
- Planning and scheduling, including critical path monitoring and contractor schedule reviews
- Budget management, cost forecasting, spend tracking, and change management
- Analysis of EOT claims and change orders, and their schedule impact
- SAP S/4HANA IM/PS modules, from investment program creation to financial close-out (SAP IM/PS experience preferred)
- Reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management
- Support for risk identification, mitigation, and lessons learned
- Proficiency in Project Controls tools and advanced MS Excel
- PMP, PMI, APM, CCP, PSP or equivalent certification is an advantage
- Proficient English; working knowledge of Arabic is an advantage
