Job description
We're looking for an experienced Projects Controls Engineer to join our client in Qatar and contribute to the successful delivery of major projects.
Role & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil preferred)
- 5–7 years of experience as a Projects Controls Engineer, with brownfield Oil & Gas experience; Petrochemical experience is an advantage
- Strong experience in planning and scheduling, including critical path monitoring and contractor schedule reviews
- Experience in budget management, cost forecasting, spend tracking, and change management
- Ability to analyse EOT claims and change orders, including their impact on project schedules
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA IM/PS modules, from investment programme creation through financial close-out; SAP IM/PS experience preferred
- Strong skills in preparing reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management
- Experience supporting risk identification, mitigation, and lessons learned
- Proficiency in Project Controls tools and advanced MS Excel
- PMP, PMI, APM, CCP, PSP, or equivalent certification is an advantage
- Proficient in English; working knowledge of Arabic is an advantage
