Purchasing Manager

We’re seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to lead procurement, optimize costs, manage suppliers, and ensure timely availability of raw materials and electrical components for production. Key Responsibilities: - Develop procurement strategies for raw materials, electrical components, and industrial supplies. - Source, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international suppliers. - Manage supplier performance, quality, lead times, and deliveries. - Coordinate with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams. - Monitor copper and steel prices, market trends, and supply chain risks. - Oversee imports, customs clearance, and regulatory compliance. - Control budgets, drive cost savings, and optimize inventory. - Lead the purchasing team, establish KPIs, and improve procurement processes. Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical preferred), Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field. - 8+ years in Purchasing/Procurement, including 3+ years in a managerial role within Electrical Panels, Switchgear, or Industrial Manufacturing. - Strong knowledge of switchgear, copper busbars, circuit breakers, enclosures, and switchboard assembly materials. - Knowledge of local and international supplier markets. - Strong negotiation, contract management, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Experience with SAP, Oracle, Odoo, or similar ERP systems. - Excellent written and spoken Arabic and English. - Must be based near 10th of Ramadan City or willing to work full-time in the area.
