Purchasing Supervisor

COFICAB EGYPT is looking for an experienced Purchasing Supervisor to join our Purchasing Team and play a key role in ensuring material availability, supplier performance, cost efficiency, and purchasing process excellence within our industrial environment. Supervise and coordinate purchasing activities to ensure the timely and cost-effective availability of materials, goods, and services while maintaining strong supplier relationships and compliance with company purchasing procedures. Supervise daily purchasing activities and ensure timely execution of purchase orders. Manage purchasing requirements in line with production plans, inventory levels, and business needs. Coordinate with Planning, Production, Warehouse, Finance, and other internal stakeholders to ensure material availability. Follow up on RFQs, POs, PRs, quotations, price negotiations, purchase orders, and deliveries. Support supplier selection, evaluation, and performance monitoring. Negotiate with suppliers to achieve the best balance of cost, quality, delivery, and payment terms. Monitor supplier performance and take corrective actions when required. Identify cost-saving and purchasing optimization opportunities. Ensure purchasing activities comply with company policies, procedures, and approval processes. Monitor market trends and supplier developments to support sourcing decisions. Maintain accurate purchasing records and provide regular purchasing reports and KPIs. Support continuous improvement initiatives across the purchasing function. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is mandatory, 5–7 years of relevant experience in Purchasing, preferably within an industrial/manufacturing environment. Strong experience in local purchasing, supplier management, and price negotiation. Good understanding of procurement processes, purchasing procedures, and supply chain operations. Experience in ERP systems; SAP & Odoo experience is highly preferred. Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. V. Good command of English. Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
