Quantity Surveyor

We are currently looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) for one of our projects in Qatar. Position: Quantity Surveyor (QS) – 1 No. Location: Qatar Start Date: ASAP Duration: 6 Months, Extendable Working Hours: 10 Hours/Day Salary: TBD Qualifications & Experience: • BE / Diploma in a relevant discipline. • Minimum 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas / Process Industries | Minimum 4 years of experience in Oil & Gas maintenance, turnaround, or similar projects. • Strong experience in quantity take-off, measurement, BOQ, cost estimation, and valuation. • SAP experience is preferred. • Good knowledge of Oil & Gas maintenance and construction activities. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare quantity take-offs, measurements, and BOQs. • Monitor and verify actual work quantities and site progress. • Review subcontractor/vendor measurements and invoices. • Assist with cost estimation, progress valuation, and cost control. • Track variations, additional works, and commercial changes. • Maintain accurate quantity and cost records. • Coordinate with Planning, Construction, Engineering, and Commercial teams. • Support progress reports, payment applications, and commercial documentation. • Ensure measurements are supported by proper site records and project documents.
