Rigging & Lifting Supervisor

Qatar Energy LNG is looking for an experienced Rigging & Lifting Supervisor to supervise lifting and rigging activities across onshore and offshore facilities while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and reliability. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise rigging and lifting activities for company facilities. - Ensure safe and efficient execution of lifting operations. - Ensure compliance with company lifting codes, standards and specifications. - Verify certification and maintenance of rigging tools and equipment. - Coordinate preventive maintenance and corrective repairs of company equipment. - Coordinate additional manpower and equipment for emergency activities. - Monitor long-term contractors and their performance. - Verify and approve non-routine lifting plans. - Ensure lifting activities meet scheduled targets. - Conduct effective Toolbox Talks and ensure JSA availability. - Support incident investigations and corrective actions. - Ensure EOT cranes and plant elevators are maintained and available. Requirements: - Higher National Diploma (HND) in Engineering. - Approved third-party Rigging Supervisor certification. - Minimum 8 years of Oil & Gas or Petrochemical maintenance experience. - Strong knowledge of lifting procedures and applicable codes. - Good written and spoken English. - Computer literacy, including MS Office and SAP. - Ability to conduct Toolbox Talks and Hazard Identification.
