SAP Lead Functional Consultant/Architect

Location UAE Work Mode Hybrid We are looking for a talented and experienced SAP Lead Functional Consultant with a strong ability to work as a Solution Architect to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading functional SAP projects, ensuring the effective design and implementation of SAP solutions, and providing strategic guidance on architectural decisions. REQUIREMENTS 10+ years of experience in SAP consulting, with at least 5 years in a lead or senior role. Extensive experience in functional consulting and business process optimization. Ability to act as a Solution Architect in SAP projects, providing a high-level overview and ensuring the end-to-end design and architecture meet business and technical needs. Strong knowledge of SAP’s integration capabilities and best practices for cross-module integration. Experience with data migration, system configuration, testing, and change management. Excellent understanding of business processes and how to map them to SAP functionality. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a solution-oriented mindset. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders. Language – English, B2 mandatory. RESPONSIBILITIES Lead functional SAP consulting for projects in areas such as SAP S/4HANA (SAP MM, SAP SD, SAP PP, SAP WM, SAP FICO) and other core SAP modules. Collaborate with business and technical teams to design end-to-end SAP solutions that align with business goals and processes. Take on the role of a Solution Architect, ensuring the SAP solution is robust, scalable, and integrates seamlessly with other enterprise applications and systems. Guide the implementation process, from blueprinting and design through to configuration, testing, and deployment. Act as a key point of contact for business stakeholders, gathering detailed business requirements and translating them into SAP solutions. Review the integration of SAP with other systems and manage data migration processes to ensure smooth transitions to SAP environments. Support functional teams by offering guidance on best practices, complex problem-solving, and configuration strategies. Work closely with business users to drive improvements and ensure the solution continues to meet evolving business needs and objectives. NICE TO HAVE SAP Certification in relevant functional or technical modules (e.g., SAP PP, SAP FICO, SAP MM). Familiarity with SAP Cloud Solutions such as SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Ariba, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). Agile Methodology experience or certification (e.g., Scrum, SAFe). Experience in large-scale SAP transformations or migrations.
