Job description

Role Overview The SAP Master Data Management Specialist will be responsible for the creation, validation, maintenance, and governance of master data across key SAP business functions. The role will ensure data accuracy, consistency, completeness, and compliance with established master data governance standards. Key Responsibilities - Manage creation, validation, modification, and maintenance of SAP master data. - Maintain master data for materials, vendors, customers, and financial data. - Ensure master data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and integrity. - Define, implement, and enforce master data governance policies and standards. - Work with business and functional teams to resolve master data issues. - Support data cleansing, validation, and standardization activities. - Monitor master data quality and identify recurring data issues. - Ensure adherence to established SAP master data processes and controls. - Support master data-related activities across SAP MM, SD, and FI. - Maintain appropriate documentation and master data procedures. Required Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a relevant domain. - 3–5+ years of experience in SAP Master Data Management or related roles. - Strong knowledge of SAP master data objects. - Good understanding of SAP MM, SD, and FI master data. - Experience with master data governance, validation, and maintenance. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Good communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Certification - SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP Master Data Governance (SAP MDG).
