Senior Accountant

2-6 years in Accounting/Finance, preferably with experience in General Ledger, Financial Reporting, Reconciliations, VAT, and ERP systems. Manage and maintain the General Ledger and ensure accurate accounting entries. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Lead month-end and year-end closing activities. Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and provisions. Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. Conduct financial analysis, variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. Prepare ad-hoc financial reports for management. Support internal and external audits and provide required documentation. Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP, VAT, tax regulations, and company policies. Supervise, guide, and review the work of junior accounting staff. Monitor accounting systems/ERP and identify opportunities for process improvement. Coordinate with Finance, Operations, Procurement, HR, auditors, and other stakeholders.
