Senior Accountant

Fortune 5 is looking for a strategic, detail-oriented, and highly experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai. This full-time, on-site role is responsible for overseeing end-to-end accounting operations, complex project and escrow account management, financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and budget control within the real estate sector. The ideal candidate will possess advanced analytical skills, deep knowledge of UAE financial regulations, and the capability to lead month-end close processes and mentor junior accounting staff. Responsibilities include overseeing daily accounting transactions, managing escrow accounting operations, leading financial close processes, supervising AP/AR cycles, ensuring UAE VAT compliance, performing bank reconciliations, and acting as the primary point of contact for auditors. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, 5+ years of real estate accounting experience within the UAE market, strong knowledge of RERA escrow regulations and UAE VAT/Corporate Tax law, advanced expertise in accounting software/ERPs such as Yardi, Oracle, SAP, Zoho Books, and advanced Microsoft Excel. Professional qualifications like ACCA, CPA, CA, or CMA are highly preferred.
