Senior Accountant – Accounts Payable

Job Title: Senior Accountant – Accounts Payable Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE Job responsibility - Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable activities including invoice processing and supplier payments. - Review invoices, cost allocations, PO splits, and supporting documents for accuracy. - Handle complex invoices including multi-currency, freight, rentals, and shipping documentation. - Reconcile supplier statements, advances, and AP clearing accounts and resolve discrepancies. - Support month-end closing activities including accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations. - Ensure AP documentation and invoices comply with UAE VAT and FTA requirements. - Manage the AP invoice mailbox and ensure timely processing and follow-up. Job requirement - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce. MBA in Finance is an advantage. - 8–10 years of Accounts Payable experience, with strong exposure to complex invoice processing. - UAE experience is required; Oil & Gas or services sector experience is preferred. - Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and FTA tax invoice compliance. - Strong Excel and ERP skills; experience with Epicor ERP is preferred. - ACCA, CMA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage. - Strong reconciliation, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills.
