Senior Accountant

We are looking for a Senior Accountant _6 Months Contract with experience with monthly closing processes, accounts payable, reporting, GL accounting, budgeting, and audits. Knowledge of banking and trade finance will be an advantage. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience. CMA/CPA/CIMA/ACCA preferred. Good English written and verbal communication skills. SAP knowledge will be an advantage. 7 years of total work experience with at least 4-5 years in a MNC. Responsibilities: Ensure that business transactions in the ERP SAP are reported in accordance with IFRS. Submission of entity wide financials as per IFRS on quarterly basis in SAP Consolidation Software. Working closely with the Finance Manager to assist with the month-end close and reporting in SAP. Assist with the annual audit process, including the drafting of the financial statements and related notes. Manage and control the payables/receivables process end-to-end. Liaise with financing banks, assess trade profitability, and control bank-related reconciliations. Responsible for tax filings (CT & VAT). Preparing intercompany recharges and balance schedules.
