Senior Accountant - General Ledger Review

We are looking to hire a Senior Accountant – General Ledger who will be responsible for general ledger accounting, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany accounting and month-end financial closing activities for our semi-government client in Dubai, which is one of the largest companies in the region. This role will start as a 4-month contract and is renewable. Key responsibilities include performing general ledger accounting activities, preparing and posting journal entries, reviewing GL accounts, supporting monthly and yearly financial closing, performing balance sheet reconciliations, identifying historical accounting errors, performing intercompany accounting and reconciliations, and coordinating with AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and Treasury teams. Knowledge, skills & experience: hands-on experience with ERP systems, with Oracle Fusion mandatory; Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; ACCA, ACA, CPA, CMA preferred; approximately 5-8 years of relevant accounting experience; strong Microsoft Excel skills.
