Senior Accountant with Oracle NetSuite Experience

Hiring: Senior Accountant | Dubai, UAE 📍 Dubai | Full-time | Salary AED 8000 to 11,000 per month for the right candidate A privately owned entertainment, retail and trading company in Dubai, which also distributes imported brands, is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to independently manage the company's complete accounts and lead the junior accountants. For the right candidate, this role offers a clear path to grow into more senior finance positions. The Senior Accountant reports directly to the owners and is fully responsible for the accounting function, from daily bookkeeping through to the financial statements. Only confident, hands-on accountants who have handled a company's full accounts on their own should apply. Key Responsibilities - Manage the complete accounting function independently, end to end - Lead, guide and review the work of the junior accountants - Handle day-to-day accounting, journal entries and general ledger maintenance - Complete month-end closing, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations - Manage accounts payable and receivable, including supplier payments in foreign currency - Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow - Prepare and file UAE VAT returns, and ensure Corporate Tax compliance - Oversee inventory control, stock reconciliations and costing of imported goods (landed cost) - Track project costing for installation jobs - Prepare financial statements, management reports, MIS and ad hoc reports for the owners - Coordinate directly with external auditors and complete the audit - Set up and maintain proper accounting procedures and internal controls Requirements - 5 to 10 years of accounting experience only, including at least 3 years in the UAE - Master's degree in Accounting or Finance (for example, M.Com or MBA in Finance), or a professional qualification (CA, CMA or ACCA, full or part-qualified) - Hands-on experience with Oracle NetSuite is mandatory - Good working knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax - Experience in trading, distribution or retail preferred - Strong Excel skills - Hands-on, accurate, self-driven and highly detail-oriented Candidate Availability - Currently based in the UAE - Only immediate joiners will be considered
