Senior Associate – Finance Transformation & CFO Advisory

Next Assurance & Advisory is looking for a Chartered Accountant to join its Finance Transformation & CFO Advisory practice. The role will involve working directly with clients to improve finance functions, strengthen controls, enhance reporting, and support management in making better financial decisions. Key Responsibilities: Finance Transformation: Design finance processes, controls and operating frameworks, and oversee/monitor implementation. Financial Remediation: Identify accounting and reporting gaps and lead remediation of financial reporting, reconciliation and control issues. Management Reporting: Develop P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, working capital and other management reports, with meaningful insights for management. Client Advisory: Present findings, recommendations and financial insights to management and independently manage client assignments. ERP & Finance Systems: Identify process and reporting improvements in SAP and support finance system/process optimisation. Accounting Oversight: Oversee accounting teams/functions, review deliverables and ensure timely and accurate financial close. IFRS Advisory: Provide practical IFRS guidance on accounting and financial reporting matters. Financial Statements & Audit Readiness: Lead/review preparation of financial statements, supporting schedules and audit documentation and ensure clients are audit-ready. Project Management: Manage timelines, deliverables, client communication and implementation across multiple advisory engagements. Candidate Profile: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) – mandatory. Strong experience in financial reporting, controllership, finance transformation or CFO advisory. Big 4 / Big 10 experience in financial advisory is preferred. Strong understanding of IFRS, financial statements, internal controls and finance processes. Comfortable working with ERP/finance systems, particularly SAP. Willingness to work from India initially and relocate to the UAE upon satisfactory performance.
