Senior Consultant - Oracle Fusion Financials & Procurement (Functional)

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Functional Consultant with 10+ years of hands-on functional expertise across Oracle Fusion Financials and Procurement to own the functional stream of our Oracle Fusion program. The role is based out of Dubai and covers business requirement gathering, functional design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support, with a strong emphasis on partnering closely with business stakeholders to shape practical, standard-first solutions. The ideal candidate is primarily functional but technically well-versed — able to configure and troubleshoot Fusion Financials and Procurement independently, converse fluently with technical teams on integrations, reports, and data loads, and validate technical outputs against business requirements, without necessarily building the technical components hands-on. A broader understanding of Oracle AI capabilities for Fusion Applications, including AI Agent Studio (Fusion AI Studio), is a distinct advantage as we embed AI-led automation across Finance and Procurement processes. Key Responsibilities - Own the functional design, configuration, and delivery of Oracle Fusion Financials (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Management) and Procurement, from requirement through business sign-off. - Run requirement workshops, process walkthroughs, and design review sessions with Finance and Procurement business teams, translating discussions into clear functional specifications. - Perform fit-gap analysis and recommend standard-first, configuration-led solutions before recommending customization. - Partner with technical teams on integrations, extensions, and reports writing functional specifications, reviewing designs, and validating build outputs against business needs. - Support the Fusion implementation roadmap and post-implementation change portfolio — enhancements, quarterly release impact assessment, functional regression testing, and business readiness for deployments. - Contribute to Oracle EBS (eBiz) to Oracle Fusion Cloud migration projects — as-is/to-be process mapping, functional validation of FBDI-based data conversions, and reconciliation. - Support cutover planning and execution — cutover runbooks, mock cutovers/dress rehearsals, go/no-go criteria, and go-live support. - Support post-implementation hypercare — stabilization activities, functional defect triage and prioritization, and knowledge transfer to BAU support. - Engage business and IT stakeholders, coordinate with vendor/SI teams, and mentor junior functional consultants to raise the quality of business analysis and solution design. Must Have - 10+ years of experience as an Oracle Fusion Functional Consultant with a strong, verifiable delivery record. - Hands-on functional configuration and support experience in Oracle Fusion Financials and Procurement — including AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and Procurement. - Solid, in-depth understanding of Oracle Fusion application offerings, features, and configuration across the Finance and Procurement modules. - Proven experience in production support functional incident triage, root cause analysis, and SLA-driven issue resolution. - A minimum of two end-to-end Oracle Fusion implementations, requirements, functional design, data migration validation, testing, cutover, and hypercare. - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage business and technical teams effectively and drive outcomes independently.
