Senior Cost Accountant

Our company is a market leader in the local food industry, renowned for quality and innovation. With four industrial entities and one entity dedicated to trade and distribution, we are a dynamic and rapidly growing organization. Job purpose: To ensure accurate and timely cost accounting, product costing, inventory valuation, cost analysis, and manufacturing cost control. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain accurate product costing for manufactured products. Calculate and analyze standard and actual production costs, including raw materials, packaging, labor, and manufacturing overheads. Monitor and analyze production costs, material consumption, production yields, waste, and variances. Prepare periodic cost and manufacturing variance reports. Support monthly and year-end financial closing activities related to manufacturing costs and inventory. Work closely with Manufacturing, Procurement, Supply Chain, Warehouse, and other departments. Identify opportunities to improve cost accounting processes, reporting accuracy, and ERP system utilization. Key Competencies: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field. 6 – 9 years of experience in Cost Accounting. Strong experience in product costing, inventory valuation, and manufacturing cost analysis. Previous experience in a manufacturing / FMCG / food industry is highly preferred. Experience working with ERP systems like SAP and Oracle is preferred.
