Senior Engineer Cost Control

Oversee the financial performance of projects by leading cost management, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities. Monitor project costs, identify potential cost overruns, and collaborate with project teams to implement corrective actions and maintain financial control. Lead the development and maintenance of project budgets, covering labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and other project costs. Monitor project expenditures against approved budgets, analyze cost variances, and report findings to senior management. Prepare and update cost forecasts, assess financial risks, and recommend appropriate cost control measures. Manage changes to project scope and budget, ensuring proper documentation, approval, and assessment of their financial impact. Apply Earned Value Management techniques to evaluate project cost performance and identify deviations from financial targets. Coordinate with Planning and Scheduling teams to align project timelines, milestones, and resource requirements with budget constraints. Prepare periodic cost reports, financial forecasts, and management presentations to support project decision-making.
