Senior Finance Manager

The Senior Finance Manager is responsible for the financial reporting requirements, maintaining the full financial integrity of the accounting ledgers, ensuring that all financial information (PandL and balance sheets) are accurately reported to the Finance Director. This position also develops strategies based on financial research and also guides senior executives in making sound business decisions in the long and short term. Oversee all financial activities within the organization, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Lead the financial planning and analysis process, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, providing insights and recommendations to senior management to support strategic decision-making. Manage financial reporting processes, including the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and financial disclosures, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to stakeholders. Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard the organization's assets, mitigate financial risks, and ensure compliance with internal governance standards. Provide financial guidance and support to department heads and project managers, assisting in financial decision-making, cost analysis, and resource allocation. Manage relationships with external stakeholders, such as auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance with audit requirements, tax laws, and regulatory standards. Oversee the implementation of financial systems and technologies to improve efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in financial operations. Lead financial projects and initiatives, such as mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and process improvements, to support the organization's growth and strategic objectives. Conduct financial risk assessments and developing strategies to mitigate financial risks, including currency risk, interest rate risk, and credit risk. Mentor and develop finance team members, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure their continued growth and effectiveness in supporting the organization's financial goals. Job Knowledge Possess advanced knowledge of financial principles, including accounting, financial analysis, and financial management, to effectively oversee financial operations. Strong analytical skills are essential for interpreting financial data, conducting variance analysis, and identifying trends or anomalies within financial reports. Proficiency in financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements enables accurate and compliant financial reporting to stakeholders. Excellent leadership and communication skills are vital for effectively managing finance teams, collaborating with other departments, and presenting financial information to senior management. Experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting equips the Senior Finance Manager with the ability to develop strategic financial plans and support decision-making processes. ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role. Job Experience Minimum 8 years working experience, 5 years in a relevant supervisory position, 2 years GCC experience is a plus
