Senior Finance Specialist - Inventory & Fixed Assets

Job Purpose: The Senior Finance Specialist (Inventory & Fixed Assets) is responsible for accurate accounting, control, and reporting of inventory and fixed assets in line with IFRS and company policies. The role manages inventory across Retail, F&B, and Spare Parts, and oversees the fixed asset lifecycle, including capitalization, depreciation, disposals, and reporting. Key Accountability Areas: Fixed Assets Lifecycle Management: Manage the full fixed asset lifecycle, monitor AUC/CWIP and ensure timely capitalization, maintain and reconcile Fixed Asset Register with General Ledger, review CAPEX vs OPEX. Inventory Management: Monitor and validate inventory movements across ERP and warehouse systems, perform stock counts, support inventory valuation under IAS 2. Accounting, Reporting & Reconciliation: Prepare and post depreciation and inventory journal entries, support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing, perform sub-ledger to GL reconciliations. Controls, Compliance & Audit: Ensure compliance with IFRS, support internal and external audits. Stakeholder Coordination & Process Improvement: Coordinate with Procurement, Projects, Operations, and Finance.
