Senior Manager - Financial Planning and Analysis

The Senior Manager leads project controls and financial governance across assigned projects or portfolios, ensuring robust oversight of contracts, budgets, schedules, risks, and reporting. The role provides strategic financial insight, strengthens control frameworks, and supports senior leadership in informed decision-making. Key Responsibilities include managing contract variations, change orders, and extension of time/cost claims, overseeing utilization of project contingencies and provisional sums, directing cost monitoring, forecasting, and variance analysis, ensuring integrity and reconciliation of data across SAP, Primavera P6, Unifier, BIM, and related systems, overseeing monthly accrual reviews and financial close activities, providing high-level oversight of schedule changes and integrated cost/schedule impacts, leading risk and opportunity reviews, acting as a senior liaison between Finance, Commercial, and Project Delivery teams, and mentoring and guiding project controls teams. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree, working knowledge or certification on project tools such as Primavera P6, Unifier, and SAP project module. Professional certifications such as CPA, MBA, Certificate in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution, or PMP are preferred. Requires 8+ years of experience in Project Controls or Development Finance as part of a large construction company, large developer, or PMC.
