Senior Supply Chain Planner

Pharmaceutical Industry – Astrix Pharma Egypt We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Senior Supply Chain Planner with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our team in New Cairo, Egypt. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and optimize production plans based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and production capacity. - Execute advanced Material Requirements Planning (MRP) for raw materials and packaging materials. - Monitor inventory coverage, safety stock, reorder points, and material availability. - Analyze material shortages and implement proactive solutions to prevent production disruptions. - Manage and validate Bills of Materials (BOMs) to ensure accurate material requirement calculations. - Coordinate with Procurement, Production, Warehouse, Quality, and Sales teams. - Analyze demand, supply, and inventory data to identify risks and improve planning accuracy. - Monitor KPIs, including plan adherence, inventory turnover, forecast accuracy, and material availability. - Use data-driven analysis to improve inventory efficiency and overall supply chain performance. Required Qualifications & Advanced Skills: - Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning or Production Planning, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry. - Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP, complex formulas, and data analysis. - Strong knowledge of MRP, BOM management, inventory optimization, and demand planning. - Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics. - Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. - Ability to manage multiple production plans and prioritize critical material requirements. - Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
