Specialist, Sourcing

The Sourcing Specialist will be actively involved in projects and analysis that will drive process improvement for the sourcing organisation. Other position responsibilities include the support of category managers and functional directors in the execution of category level strategies inclusive of supplier transaction level issue resolution and overall supplier performance measurement. This position may manage one or more categories with an estimated annual spend of between $0-20M. Responsibilities include providing analytical and process improvement support to the corporate sourcing group, communicating with suppliers and internal customers regarding order status, partnering and problem solving with Accounts Payable and suppliers to troubleshoot vendor invoice issues in P2P systems, assisting sourcing managers with managing, testing, reporting, and updating for sourcing systems including SAP and Ariba, providing coaching and guidance on purchasing processes, and leading lean six sigma initiatives with an opportunity to obtain LSS Green Belt certification.
