Supervisor, Procurement and Contracts

Supervisor Procurement and Contracts JOB PURPOSE: To execute the procurement and contract process for the assigned materials/services for all NMES plants and business to ensure that contract/procurement requirements are met in line with policies and procedures. Key Accountabilities: Procurement Cycle and Contracts: Collate information from plants, finalize specifications, and prepare RFQs for suppliers. Coordinate procurement and contract cycles under the supervision of the Procurement & Manager. Administer terms of purchase and ensure compliance with POs and contracts. Supplier Selection and Tender Process: Carry out analysis of quotations, comparison statements, market knowledge, and conduct vendor negotiations. Purchase Order Management: Enter information into the system for PO generation, obtain approvals, ensure order acceptance, expediting, and liaison with finance for invoice processing. Supplier Management: Analyze vendor performance and support periodic evaluations. Contract Management: Ensure contracts are finalized based on standard templates, coordinate with legal for deviations, create outline agreements in SAP, and raise purchase orders linking outline agreements. Supplier Database: Identify new suppliers, conduct market research, and update credentials. Expediting and Logistics Planning: Follow up for timely delivery, prepare schedules, and implement contingency plans. Policies, Processes, Systems & Procedures: Adhere to standard operating procedures and local country procurement regulations. Health, Safety, Security & Environment: Adhere to HSE procedures.
